1. Protect from strong winds by securing it to the boat or the shore with the included anchoring tether. 
2. The wind anchor kit provides 64 pounds of anchoring weight while on the water (sold separately). 
3. Connect the canopy's tether to a mushroom anchor, just like a small fishing vessel does in the wind.
